Rewiring

The cost is quite sceptical...as it depends on where and how the person is doing the rewiring.

The issue bows down to original wiring or new wires (non-bmw specs) or secondhand wires.

The work is very intensive.

yeah, but i wanna know roughly how much does an average rewiring work cost? hehe

i don't think anyone here has rewired their ride. U might want to go to the workshops to get an estimated price quote.

If you need the wires from the computers box to the engine compartment let me know I got a spare can sell to you, its original for m40 engine from my car only RM 750.
May I know why you need to rewire. I regreted rewiring not my Bimmer but my classic car, after pulling all the wires and rewired, check out the original wires are just like new inside sayang only the rappers looks old. I can'nt remember how much I spend as I bought the wires as recommended and help my friend did the wiring, it was in 1982 lah.( just help to hold only) actually its a days job but mine was drag as my friend took it easy, followed the original spac. of the car wiring diagram.

go to Calvin Tan website and go print out the Fuse Coding page la.

wah...kena hantam,

Cost is always an issue here, but then again it all depends on the budget...NO?

I changed my previous ride's wiring using mostly from Japs halfcuts. Why?..budget constraint.

Engine bay wirings were done by myself with the help of my mech, so yes...I got mine FREE. ( most to most was just cost for drinks for my mech)
