Hi again,Drive too fast on bad road. Hence stone chipped here and there. Anyone knows the price to respray bonnet and front bumper? Color is alpine white.Thanks.Regards,Didie

I got a quote for repainting hood, rear bumper and front bumper. RM850 for all.

Normally the paint shop charge RM200 per panel, mean RM200 for front bumper, RM200 for rear bumper, RM200 x 2 for bonnet (due to bigger size).

same problem here. Car is white, and stone chips stick out like a sore thumb. Any recommended shops fellow forummers frequent?

Same situtation....today kena banyak micro lubang on my bumper and bonnet. Hhhaaaiiiizzzzzzzz

I have it done in Subang, Action motor.
It's behind the M speed.

Bro, can share which part of Subang is that?? need to send my car aso. Mom scratched my front bumper, and she din even realised it. zzzzzzz

Well, I dropped the car at 9am, the car is ready at 1:30pm.

If you know where's M speed, it's behind it.
Tmn Perindustrian subang.
I think if you search Action Motor on the web may find it.
The boss is also a beemer kaki.

DanielE30 n myself just went for our teflon coating yesterday at Sunway.
You guys can google "shine n shield" for more info.

Shiny shiny and no more waxing required.
I done it on my green hornet E46 325, now I am doing on my space grey 325.

Daniel, load some photos of your red hot chili 335!!!
I was there the whole day, I must say they have really done a very good job on your babe.
A lot of attention and effort to restore your car's paint work, it was a full day job!
I am impressed and I am happy for you.

Mine is still quite new so, the difference are not that huge, but the gloss is different now. more juicy...

Daniel, so you gave Raymond a big kiss???

what the demage like for the teflon coating?

RM980 for new car or car with very good paint condition.
If not so good, do expect a 10-20% increase as they really need a lot more extra work.
I have seen it, it take like at least 2hrs more.

You will need to visit them for maintenance between 6-12mths for about RM150 depending on how careful you take care of your car.

sorry but once u put the teflon coat on the paint, will it reduce the chances of stone chipping? and if it do chipped and it rains, will water sipped into it and further worsens the outcome? Thanks!

Nope, it will not. You need to understand the concept first.
Go google shine n shield or teflon coating.
It tells you more then my few words here.

It's a layer of polymer on top of your paint to protect it from acid, bird droppings and others. Not to against stone chip.

Water cannot sip into the paint work. Anyhow you will bring it back for maintenance like every 6-12mths.

agreed.had mine coated with SierraGlow. it will make it easier to remove bird droppings, bugs and all.
Certainly not stonechips. my car is East Coast highway warrior, and i surrender on the stonechip issue.
too much (especially i drive fast on the ECE) just respray it once a year perhaps?

there are other options like clear bra,as they say.
not too sure about that one..
