Reprogram the IR remote key? How?

Hey all the sifus here.. Accidentally reset my IR remote key (the one with only 2 buttons on it) just now, searched youtube and everywhere. It says u need to plug in the key and turn the ignition to position 1, then turn off and immediately hold the unlock button and press the lock button 3 times while holding the unlock button. The key manage to blink for 10 secs as it describe in the information i gathered. But my car failed to unlock and lock the door to indicate it's programmed. And the remote won't work now. Any sifu here know how to solve this? is IR remote require different kind of program method?

Mine also with IR Remote key...
The step you did is correct but you need to point the key to the clown nose under the rear view mirror not more then 15mm during initializing the IR Remote....(red cap)

You have to make sure your remote receiver is ok and you remote not runs out of battery. Beside this you have to make sure your remote is working fine.
