Reliable paintshop & bodywork in Subang/Sunway

Hi guys,Planning to change my car colour to mett black, from a faded 14 year old maroon colour. Along with minor parts to the bodywork, knock out 3 'stabs' on the hood from an unknown lowlife months ago, and trying to get the 'eyelid' as well. Anyone in Subang/Sunway area could recommend an honest and pro workshop specialised in this? I don't mind giving my car over for 1-2 weeks and budget for the colour change is

1-2 weeks may not be suficient for proper cure.. when you intend to do a whole body paint work, never rush them, always ask them how long do they need to get it done...

along Kg. Sungai Kayu Ara, there are quite a few... and many UDM sent to SPB, next to M1... maybe you want to check it out.

Thanks Arrio. I don't mind waiting for the car actually...and of course rushing them is a bad idea for a job like this.

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with that place...any landmarks nearby? Preferably any workshop in Subang or Sunway area, there's many but I don't know workshops which are reliable and honest. My mechanic friend in Subang doesn't do this type of job...and he's given a recommendation although the location is somewhere in KL!

Yes you can mention my name. Chong knows me quite well. Not too sure how much it cost especially matt colours.

I echo Vincent Hor's statement! CMS has done a very good job to my family's cars for the past few years! Even though I have moved to PJ (used to live in Puchong), but I still send my car to CMS for touch up or spray paint... as my brother's, sister's and dad's

Bro, for paint jobs, it's not the colour that determines the price.

Some important considerations are;

1. Condition of the body now
2. Condition of the paint now
3. What brand of paint
4. Is the painter going the full works
5. What type of lacquer
6. What type of base coat
7. What type of primmer
8. Last but not least, how good is the painter

That's why I suggest that you go that to check out the facilities, their work in progress and finish product.

Hey Eggie...yeah trying to sort out my gearbox leak first!! Haha going to workshop tomorrow, and hopefully get this sorted. Will have the pics up by next week for sure. I ended up going with jet black actually..
