Guys, just recently bought a recon f10. Anyone can recommend a good workshop to service my car ? Can I send it to the BMW official distributors, eg AB, to service my car ?

You can't until you pay RM 1000 as registration fee. You will need registration card, K1 and JK 69 aka AP in order to register on top of fee imposed.

Newbie checking in. Got me a recond 2010 F10 523i Japan spec last month. Odometer reads 5K but had obviously been reset. Dealer did an oil change before delivery but should I send it in to an official BMW service centre for overall check? Also, please direct me to the link for fixing the radio frequency and DVD region settings. Much thanks guys!

PS. I've checked with Quill BMW and they do accept grey imports.

Try Wearnes, AB or Ingress. From my experience, they do normally allowing servicing or inspection of grey imports subjected to vehicle being registered with them first, which requires a one-time registration fee of RM500-1000. Or else, your best best will be third-party workshops. I have seen F10s being brought in for service already as some has past their warranty and BSRI period.
