Hi all Bimmer bros and sis - My 2012 F10 that just done 78K has recently encountered the problem of water leakage at radiator.
Last sent to AB KL Jln Tun Razak they recommended to replace the whole unit at Rm3300.
As the car has no more warranty, mind to share where can I find a reliable workshop with reasonable pricing and good workmanship to replace a new one pls? Anyone has the similar problem and just replaced one lately? tks

Did you confirmed the radiator is the actual cause of the leak?

Sometime it could be the rubber hose.

Ask for a second opinion.

Hi jarance.
ya ya saw some greenish / yellowish stain on the radiator itself and looks like has been leaking for a while alr.
AB Jln Tun Razak did the pressure test and confirmed that it's not the rubber hose prob.
Maybe I should send to Ingress Puchong for a 2nd check? tks

for a radiator to leak within 3 years is unacceptable lar...so called BMW quality summore.

i ran my e34 for 10 cool years....no radiator issues.
my japanese livina on it's 7th year osso no problem.

AB jln tun razak confirmed leaking rad during pressure test?

- no choise if really leaking have to replace also....regarding radiator leaking issue until now - no solution ( after 2 - 3 yrds then replace

Hi there, mine was 2011 523i,

I've already replaced twice, one time whilst under warranty, second time I've fixed outside,

My costs range from 2.2k-2.5k include installation,

I am surprised to know that the radiator has such a short life span.....

not suitable to our hot climate?

I'm not too sure as well,

But the SC told me quite a few came in and claim warranty for this F10 model,

Overall I found F10 much more reliable than E60,

Good luck

Just replace radiator for my F10 528i 2010 RM 1.8k.

Also, i have replaced all the water hoses + thermostat + cool-en at RM 3.1k.

Peace of mind now..

Bro - Can PM the workshop address and contact person for replacement pls?
