Recon Japan Model - Speed Limit

Bro,Is it true that recon Japan spec have speed limit, like other Japanese car. How to unlock it, if there. Please advise.....

speed limit only apply for japanese make model only, european model no speed cut off.

speed limit...the max limit?..mine also japanese spec but still can go up to 210km/h with 17"rims..but now with 18",bit slower..

Mine also Jap spec 2001 E39. Still can go beyond 200km/hr. I think the limit is 240km/hr.

what i meant is japs car made in japan i.e, honda, toyota, suzuki they do have speed cut off in japan usage cause it their regulations, but cars imported from europe to japan, they do not impose the speed cut off. Therefore i.e u buy recon toyota harrier or caldina speed cut off @ 180, but BMW/Merc japan spec no speed cut off. This was told to me bu my fren from japan.

my 2001 e39 525 jap spec have speed limiter...but it only works when wife is onboard

The Speed Limits is only warning meassage or U're car really can go further????
If only the warning meassage can be reset mar....
