Rear Axle Carrier bush puller.

Hi,Changed pitman arm and sway bar bush (both like dog bone).Another big one to do.Dear 7er driver out there if anybody ever have this puller to take out the bush.it the big bush some people call it Rear axle carrier or beer can.Would like try myself before give up to workshop.Greets

no i don't have the rear axle carrier bush puller but i have done this bush replacement myself @ home and i spent 1.5 days to do it.it is time consuming and requires strength. :cry: (macam terror jer)

what i did was to bring the whole axle carrier to a machine shop (after removing from the car of crs)and pay them to remove and install the bushes.oh yes...i did this on my e30.the rear suspension set up is basically the same for the e30,e34 and e32

as moots said, its better to get the machine shop to do the work!

as state E32 1988. I'm impress with moots dismantle the whole axle but that might my last choice.
I might try to saw the rubber .....
