Hi fellow members,Am looking to intall a rear roller blind on my E39 (2002), Any suggestion where to look for?Helpful tips appreciated.

Bro,
I have a complete set - electric roller blind, parcel shelf and the switch.
Problem - no pre-exiting wires for plug and play, if this is not part of the car's original specification, needs modification.
The items are for sale, pls call 012-651 6090 if interested and will let go cheap.
Cheers

Hi bro, nice to meet you just now at HakiTrade Subang, unfortunately at the time I already confirmed the deal with the guy for the rear blind in his shop. If you came 15 minutes earlier i might have bought it from you.

Anyway Alex you can buy the complete set from bro Jaya here (JKP) as he has told me he had the complete set. The other problem beside the wiring is, the switch panel only have 2 botton which is built in - ASC and the blind button. Might need to modify to include your DSC and PDC if you have it in your car, or slaughter the switch he has and use the button in you existing panel.

About the wiring, I'm not sure but some people in the UK forum who has retroffited it in their car says that some cars will have the wirings ready to accept the connection, that depends on your luck I guess but there's only 2 wires to run to the front anyways if your car haven't got it.

As I said, I would've bought from him myself but already bought another one to DIY just now.

Haywire, thanks for the thought. But my PDC & ASC also comes with seats heater, so what I did after consideration last year was install heavy tinting on the glass. Anyway, normally there is no pre-wiring if there is no control switch on the front panel. Cheers....

Cannot ever be full spec because afraid to cut in the sunroof and dont want to change electric seat due to rare colour of my seats. Others can do la hehe

Sure or not car value increasing, I see my credit card bill increasing only
