Rattling Sound At Steering Column

Hi fellow Beemer owners.My steering column rattles whenever I go over uneven surface. What could be the cause of this? Recently when I wanted to do wheel alignment, the guy said that I need to change my Rack End. Could this be the cause of the rattling sound? And once changed, would the rattling sound be solved? Would appreciate feedback or suggestions please. I'm just a novice when it comes to mechanical matters.Thank you in advance.

Hi mate, if you did a search, this topic has been discussed before and recently just replaced my steering column, steering coupling and steering joint to fully eliminate the rattle.

Happened to me previously and resolved the issue by changing the steering column only.
