Question ON Purchase E46

hi all , i am new at here , i wanted to ask some quesion :lol: i am looking for E46 around RM 100-120K is it what model i can get ?318 or 320 ?? cos i hear someone tell me 318 got too many type , like 1800cc , 1900cc , 2000cc ...... i really confues about it ..... 1 more quesion is , if i buy a inport car AB will help me service or not ?cos i hear someone tell me AB will not service inport BMW .... :dunno: hope ur all will help me ~~ sorry for my bad english .....

And, why do you need to go AB to service car...
Theres a lot of aftermarket(???) repairer which is much more cheaper.

with your budget of 100-120k u can get an E46 318i CKD year 2000 or 2001. AB expensive, there is alot of good specialist workshop for bimmer everywhere with better price

For, Rm120k+ you can get 318i 2001 jpn spec unreg with lower interest, if you buy ckd registered u will have to pay more for the interest this what the bank charge.

318i come with 1.9 eng, 118hp. 2001, FL 2003 will have 2.0 eng 143hp. / all 4 pot eng.

Example: say you wanna but E46 318i 1.9/2.0 at (after downpayment) for RM120K....

For unreg, ur interest rate will be between 3.5% to 3.75%...so for 9 years will pay about RM1.4k/month...

For the same price, 2nd hand, after charging an interest rate of 5% (min)...your monthly will be around RM1.6K/month...(assuming both pay the same amount of depositlah)....so rm0.2k/month for 108 months = RM21,600 difference...

The shit thing is that some of the 2nd hand cars are about the same mileage of the unreg but just because some owner in malaysia has owned it before, the bank deems it as 2nd hand car and charges 1.5% more

now the price is slightly lower than that for 2001...on average rm130-132....the rm120k price was after a RM10k down payment (just for the purpose of explanation)....for the M-sport 2001...abt RM141 plus plus...actually you can 'tawar' some more taking into account the new increase in interest rates points by Bank Negara yesterday...this time, it is buyers market not sellers market....found out the hard way when i sold off my type r last week...
