BMW M5 owner for 3 years here.. Have few problems here on my tyres recently. First two years it was still fine.. perform perfectly until few days ago.. during rainiy day, the steering and tyres seems not in sync very well. quite dangerous i know.. anyone of u having this prob too ? does it mean i have to change my tyres ?

a good tyre shop will point out the cause of the problem you're experiencing. meanwhile, head to our Newbie section and make a proper introduction of yourself.

have you looked at the alignment?? when was the last check? normally tyres degrade gradually and does not drop off the cliff like F1 tyres.

Just go to any tyres shop do balancing n wheel alignment...
Balancing n alignment should be carry out once in 3 or 4 months...
Also do rotate your tyres...

aku ada stereng lori dan bas......kau ada....

Mind me to ask starter, are u using cheap rims and tyres? Using cheap rims, I guess it will probably shatter under the tremendous force generated from the weight and torque from braking. Kindly do yourself a favor and invest that RM10,000 needed for the good branded tyres instead of risking your loved ones life on roads.

FUH!! member sudah pandai!!! eh bro.. tunjukkanlah macam mane you buat alignment.. !

I take that you were saying that the 1st 2 years the tire performs perfectly, only now the same tire giving problems? It sounds like your tire already exhausted & need to be change...well to my experience, old & >50% wear on tire will give u some problems during wet road condition, moreover with wider tire profile...my guess its time to change the tire....

what size your tyres?? if only 2 years and have more than 50% and size ngam, i buy it off you 100 bucks a piece..kekek because i know for sure its not the tyres...

bro, mind to share what kinda tires u using ? suggest u to go for Michelin Pilot Sport 3 ( PS3).. I had these tires on my Audi TT, so far very comfort and quiet, didn't give much prob to me. Good grip on wet and dry condition.. well suited on yours. anyway, got info from here.

MIchelin PS3 is for rich man la.. not easily affort!!

Michelin PS3 is expensive but the quality is assured, durable and efficient, so I would rather spend more money on this than using lower quality tires which shattered vry fast.. if you are on budget, then recon one well suited you, the quality not bad one.

Expert says, Yokohama is one of the inexpensive tires that is best budget bet for our car. Yokohama beats other budget-priced performance all-season tires in a recent test, delivering the best wet and dry grip and the quietest, most comfortable ride. I'm yokohama supporter!

I would be very happy if my set of tyres last for more than 2 years.. and my car don't hav anywhere near the torque of an M5.

Depands bro with your ride style and mileage cover hehehe...:top:

i have given up on korean tyres.. and so far stucked to michelin. Recently bought 2 conti MC5, cos its half price to michelin.

Drove out the shop and 2 corners later regretting it.

So far, i have terrific experience with michelin. out of 10 tyres i bought in the last 3 years, 4 of them was "0" - "0" on balancing, and all of the rest have less than 25g . haven seen that in anything else. The MC5 that i had.. had 100g on it.. damn it. shuld have decided to take it off at that very moment.

Pertanyaan
1.tayar u ni penah tukar ke?
2.Tayar u ni RFT ke?

kalau u tak pernahtukar tayar, kemungkinan besar, tayar u dah botak, kalau tak botak, bunganya dah keras,
Kalau u pakai RFT mmg biasa u akan rasa mcm ni bila u punya tayar dah more than 50% habis sbb RFT side wallnya keras, so bila bunga dah kurang dan u tak jaga angin tayar, benda ni biasa...
