I propose to renew the Power Steering fluid on my e36/320 coupe, anybody has done this before and where is the filter located, any indication price + labor? I wish to do a TOTAL FLUSH of the PS fluid.

The filter is in the power steering fluid reservoir, so I believe you've gotta change that. Wasn't that expensive the last time I bought mine. I've done this myself, quite an easy DIY, the reservoir is held on by two nuts IIRC and then the hoses of course.

One word to the wise, the dirty PS fluid is a lil hard to get it all out so you might wanna do this flush twice if you're really anal. For mine, I put in quite some effort to get it out but my new ATF still became dirty after a day (mixing with the old fluid)

Here's a DIY on a left hand drive e36 M3. Not sure how different the power steering setup is, but this should give you a pretty good idea.
