Finally end of a long first day at work..... Crowd's coming back to PJ and KL.Begining of another long year of racuning, running around chop shops, getting the UDM fixed and ..... not least $$$ .. down the drain!!!! May the Year of the BOAR be kind to ya and ur UDM..........

Damn, my cars also having the post tung-tung-chang syndrome. $$$$ flew away. Sigh. Maybe it is my wallet that is having the post tung-tung-chang syndrome.

PV6 had misfiring problem and running on only 5 cylindersduring the CNY holidays while on way back to wifey's hometown. Self-diagnosed as sparking from the spark plug cables. did temp DIY repair i.e. wrap the bloody offending cable in PVC tape. Did the trick. All 6 cylinders firing. The temp fix held out until yesterday. Gotta change the whole cable set. Got quotes for the set ranging from RM300-500. Damn.

SLOTH had aircon problem during the CNY. No cool air. Did repair at Naidu... around RM1k which included cost of changing condenser, receiver drier, microfilter, gas and labour. After that, was advised by Naidu that SLOTH is losing coolant. Damn, damn and double damn. It wasn't losing coolant before sending to Naidus... I wonder. Gotta send to my regular mech for thorough checking today.

Sigh, thought the new year is gonna be good for me. Not an auspicious start.

there goes the cooling coil... On the subject of air-con, for E36.. is it really thru that the passenger side is not as cool as the driver side when it is on?

Yup, my wallet was literally steamrolled by a babi hutan. Now flat as a pancake. Sigh, if I was not married, I would have ang pows as a subsidy. Even having a kiddo is not enuff to offset the amount of ang pows given out. What to do? I onli have 1 and my relatives have min 2.

Running on 5 is easy to diagnose, the car is bloody pig to drive, engine is stumbling and rocking, not smooth and like wanna die one. Luckily got 6 cylinders. If 4 cylinders, might die alreadi. Now you know why I like 6 cylinder engines. Creamy smooth when all is firing.

On my ex-Babe (E36), both sides are equal, if I set the temp the same.

I was just all about giving this year!

Plus my steering was rocking to the beats of the stereo.. Got 'em brake disc all changed.. Problems solved.. The PIG ate RM1100 as a start this year..

Lucky you, onli RM1,100. I sudah kena RM1,200 and rising... yet to resolve my coolant woes in SLOTH.
