gearbox ka?

I'm having trouble in the 0-3000 rpm range, especially 2000-3000. After 3000 it picks up faster. I dont think it has anything to do with gear changing?

My Vios speeds up faster at 60-120 kmh

Words simple as that

Are you guys smarter than BMW engineer?
yes and no.....

The standard fuel map is to cater to stock engines and the majority of ppl who seldom see the limit of their cars.

So for those who wants more out of what the ECU can do, piggyback is one of the ways of doing it. U can always go for standalone ECU like MOTEC, Microtech, Haltech, bla bla bla. Just be aware that these Standalones are a couple times more expensive but the gains is more.
A properly tuned wira 1.6 stock standard engine can get 160bhp just by having a higher end MOTEC ECU.

if mention bout reliability,durability.......etc
So far so good.. Initially I have a problem cranking the engine bcos the crankshaft signal got weaker after the SMT6 tapping the wire. But I fixed that with a relay. Not problem after that.
