Personal Import... any tips, suggestions?

Hi Everyone! Good to have found a Motorrad community in Malaysia. Would like to know if anyone has had any experience importing their bikes from overseas? Might be heading home this summer and bring my 1200GS with me from the UK. I'll most likely be using a moving agent (door to door), pay the customs dues.. what about the AP application etc? Bike has been with me from Bahrain-Saudi, and now on UK plates. Any indication on insurance costs in Malaysia? To import, depends on the terms. Expatriate working in Malaysia or Malaysian coming back to Malaysia? For tax, you need to forward chasis no and email to customs Malaysia, they will be able to give you estimate based on pre-determined docket price.
