I came accross this email 3 years ago if not mistaken..I've also seen those camera's at the Elite highway, USJ/HICOM bridge, everyday pass them at over 90km/h..no summon to date.

It might be the PLUS traffic monitoring cameras rather than speed trap cameras. The images you see of road traffic during last week's raya on tv was probably from these cameras.

All the zones are updated into my Garmin POI. It will just scream when I approaching these zones, so I slow down.. From the speeding tickets saved, it makes Garmin device's price negligible. I say Garmin is a must have device in our car. Regretted didn't buy much earlier.. :p

My Garmin seems to always guide me to a longer or wrong route...any idea why? It does not behave that way before....

The new permanent speed trap system operated by the private company is expected to be operational by end of this year. Actually it is supposed to be running already but Gov and the company cannot agree on some details. Lets hope they keep on delaying until the system decays.

another good way of making easy bucks and not to mentioned those speedsters stepping hard on the brakes when approaching these flyovers .....
