Eventually you will see him again. :)

I was utterly shock and sad to hear this news! He was just in his early 50's and had lots of good things ahead of him. Heard that apparently he passed away in his sleep.

I got my sweet 19" wheels from him - he sold me the wheels on his car after much persuasion. A good friend and ever helpful chap. We are all gonna miss him!

MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE!

My sincere and heart felt condolences goes out to his family....

My deepest condolences to Simon's family, Jaffany & Freedie. He was the kindest person I have ever known and I will truely miss him as a true friend. My heart felt pain. Thank you Simon for all that you have thought me about life and BMWs. We will miss you heaps. God bless your soul, always.

May he rest in peace.....

Though I dun know him personally, Obermaier wun be same without him. My condolences to Freddie and his immediate family.

I know many modders here and outside will miss him.

Yes, life is short and we should always be mindful of that!

I have only met him personally once at a wedding dinner. Can't even recall how he look like now but his reputation as a BMW and Mini guru precedes him. Some of us would have heard the name Obermaier and Simon before during our tenure with a BMW.

His mission here is accomplished and got called back. However, death is not the end. Rest In Peace.
