Guys, Has anyone installed the auto transmission's paddleshifters to their E60? I've read on the net that it's been done before but the ones I read were not Malaysians' E60. Anyone care to share their experience? I'm very much interested to install these paddleshifters on my ride, 530i Q42005 UK spec auto. Thx :top:

about Paddle Shifters... I'm sure that it can be done :D coz I know someone who had installed one on his E39...
There's also one fellow bimmer here... t2ribena whom I called Mr. DIY... had added paddle shifters onto his car by himself... maybe he can shed some light here... otherwise PM him...

aisey! I can only fix my breakfast.. anything to do with cars, must go kedai and get someone to fix it for me..

how may i help?

t2ribena,

Can you tell me where you sourced your paddleshifters and how much did it cost?

I might be able to find someone to fit it for me.

Thanks

Hi,

I've installed a paddleshift steering with MF to my E85. The only parts i need are;

1. new steering column with extra 2pin socket (this is for the wire (item 3 below)you run from the gbox to the shifter)
2. special wiring loom for the multi function button
3. a pc reset switch wire (to use for no. 1 above)

I wont state the part nos. here as it may be different from your E60 but I think it's definitely possible.

Now, got all controls on steering and they illuminate at night.....10x increase in cool factor BHP
