Currently now I've already owned my e46 2.0 year 2002 facelifted for about 3 and half years. Not much problem when owning it even though as you all know n42 is not easy to maintain. I get used and very enjoy it and the experience make me more interested to know BMW. Now I start to "gatal" looking for e90. How do you guys think?. I'm sure sifu here have some opinion and advice for me to choose either to stick to my e46 and do some modification until tip top or to upgrade to e90 320i. Also need advice on how much is the market price for e90 320i. Thanks in advance. :top:

An honest opinion, by now you should be looking at a ride that's at least 2500cc. E90 is a step up, but getting an e90 325i (msport the least, especially) is just simply sweeter...... why am i saying this? lets just say, its just a natural progression........and an itch that simply needs to be scratched.....hehehe

all the best bro!! may we see the light!!

agreed. stay away from 320i; it is just too sluggish. opt instead for either 325i or 320d, preferably MSport.

E90 320d or 325i only. Don't bother about the 320i. For the same year, 320d will be around 20k cheaper. Why the D? Well, let's just say given the unpredictable + inevitable fuel price hike, the D offers you the same amount of fun and yet light for your pocket (FC & roadtax-wise, possibly maintenance too).

Ohh ya, D only comes in M-sport so you get the full package.

I noticed e90 320d is not much in the market. Is it?

UDM sifu's,

I believe the E90 323's LCI's are also similar with the E90 325's? but only the HP or ECU unit has been decreased / remapped? Please advise as I am feeling a bit gatal now wanna upgrade from my E46 to a 323 LCI model.

Saw at mudah.com and year 2010's current pricing is around 138k +/-?

Stick to the 325i MSport. Preferably LCI ones if budget permits. If not, then the pre-LCI. Plenty of good deals on carlist and mudah.

What is the budget that you have in mind? then work around that budget of yours.

Bro Jakpo / fellow UDM guys,

but how about E90 320d? better than 320i? I guess it gives more FE compare to the petrol one?

Veera, i never tried a D before. Dont want to try actually, coz afraid i might feel sakit hati.

But of course between 320i and 320d, go for the D.
