air-cond is complete

aircond effectiveness now rivals that of a new car. all that's left for this bit are the air ducts and of course a dashboard.

kgb, since you called me cheapskate, i had to borrow money to make proper number plates :p

the tappets were a bit noisy otw back from the aircond shop, so now they're being adjusted. monday afternoon the project will move to ah kit's... yeay!!!

hayah, should have told me earlier, i would have let you borrow my number plates.

Wow, is that an E28 with M6 rims? :4:

Nice progress bro.

Last night thought you didn't come for TT, then saw your car at the back. Haha.

let me have her.. i'll give it a makeover - 2012 budget :)

i need to purchase it at no more than 2k to patch up a'la wheeler dealer and sell at 7k.

restoration certainly not feasible as would cost about 80k, work duration one and a half years. even assuming you're a lousy businessman and not make any profit for your efforts over that long period, doubt i can find anyone who would pay 80k for a carburetored E21 320.

Mizhan: maybe can make this into business...sort of Wheeler Dealers style... :4:

by the time you complete the car, the price of RM80K will be the actual price of the car plus inflation and costs in this era.

in other words, very very new car in a time warp..

thanks ambry.. i would be really tempted if it's a late model 323i manual with power steering.

her first full tank of petrol in almost 2 years
