congratulations eggie.. for your caps, nothing beats a new set of o-rings. while you're at it, replace the rings around the lock caps as well.

Mizhan bro, can I finally consider myself part of the Alpina clan, although wannabe... :p

Of course, cannot compare to the time, effort and moolah you have spent to refurbish those Alpinas on both your E30s. :adore:

Btw, I noticed the caps making sounds when I am driving. I've checked them and they're actually quite loose despite being able to be locked. Any ways to rectify them? Or do I need to refurbish the whole set and get someone to tighten the caps?

Walah..just found out yr pic with the alpina wheels..very handsome one

Thanks for the tip guys. Yup, Badrul told me to get a new set of o-rings/rubber seals for the caps & lock caps from ebay. Hope to get a set soon. :top:

once you receive the new rings, a little mounting or rubber grease is required. virgin maaa.. very tight :)

Awesome. Thanks again for clarifying Mizhan!

gizmoz & munkeong, the BG boys sourced them for me. speak with wolverine or miepower.. that shop merely mounted them on the rims.

btw, i was late going to work today.. spent too much time just staring at those lovely rear tyres

For me, I am using the o-ring of the oil filter container..everytime when you change your oil filter, it came with it for free. you can get it from your friendly mech..Try it.

Thanks Gerald. I really cannot stand the clanging sound the caps make when I am driving. Feels embarassing to be cruising slowly and being able to hear the din...
