Hi guys,The thick-carpet alike sound proofing material is not found in my E90 323i, just wonder is this common to all E90s? I remember well my E36 328i has it. The sound coming out from this E90 engine bay is no way quieter than my E36, wonder why they take it away ( assume all yours aint' fitted too) .. :banghead: Guys, ur comments pls?

Very small piece, can hardly block any heat or noise from the engine bay, for diesel engine, it's a must to reduce the irritating clutter but for the magnesium N52, the engine note is a symphonic orchestra that envy of all. Why suppress it?

By the way, the small piece of material will make you RM500 poorer. :4: My E90 320i also dun have and no intention to put.

The e36's is the size of a whole bonnet, is that considered a small piece? I dislike the fact that the fan noise inside the engine bay is overwhelming when the car is idling..
