After a tire puncture has been patched/repaired using TireCare sealant, what are you recommendations i.e.

1. do we just leave the TireCare sealant residue inside the tire?

2. do we go to tire shop, remove the TireCare sealant residue from the tire and do a proper tire patch?

Hi Herbert,

Good Question.

Answer 1: Yes. You just have to leave the TireCare Sealant inside and drive until your tire goes flat. When you change a new tire. As easy as just use
water to clean off the wheel rim.
Answer 2: After your tire get flat and then you apply the TireCare Sealant. After that you can drive to a workshop and take out the nail and continue drive.
You do not need to pay for mechanic to patch the hole again. Because TireCare Sealant will seal the hole permanently.

Hope we did answer your question.

Thanks.

A. No. TireCare Sealant is to apply after your tires got punctured. The Sealant to apply before tire punctured it has a balancing problem. Your steering will vibrate when you drive exceed over 50-80/km per hour. Any brands of the Sealant in the market have the same problem.

Team tirecare permanent sealant,

Take note on the following points.
1. Sealemt has an expiry date. If punctured tyre is used as spare wheel, consumers tend to use for 10 years which is not safe.
2. Tyre is a safety item/part. FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) must be considered on ebery aspect considering safety of driver.
3. Certain countries forbid the use of pre-puncture sealants simply because it does not notify the driver of the objects puncturing the rim untill at one point the tyre may burst during driving causing the vehicle to loose control and fatal accident (rated 10 in FMEA severity which requires a countermeasure avoiding it to happen).
4. Puncture repair sealants do not necessarily seal the punctured hole on the tyre. A very low chance of sealing is provided (commonly is just 'luck'). Main factors are that the sealant has to flow over the hole and considering small amount of sealant against large tyre surface. Also factors assisting sealant to flow is the tyre temperature itself which will alter the sealant's viscosity and flow ability. Nevertheless, OEM uses sealants in replacement of spare wheels solely due to enviromental reasons and lower vehicke weight (lower vehicke CO2 emission).

This may help: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.btmauk.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Aftermarket-puncture-sealants-10-Mar-15.pdf&ved=0ahUKEwiip9LxyPHMAhWIQY8KHa_UCAwQFggjMAM&usg=AFQjCNHitmyWcIV10OJx1ayDI78v3lYHWg&sig2=3k6Q_qNbTH-D1TtY3nYTNw

Hello. Thanks for your comments.

Please allow us to reply you in RED.

1. Sealant definitely has an expiry date. TireCare Sealant is 5 years shelf life. Even a quality space tire can't keep more than 4 years.
3. Before saying other brand of sealant will burst the type. When you apply any sealant in the market before your tire got punctured. You will facing steering vibration issue and alignment. TireCare Permanent Sealant is to use after your tire got punctured and it can be seal the punctured and allow you to drive until your tire goes flat.
4. In the market sealant until now only has 4 sealant formulation. 1st generation is chemical with gas. 2nd generation chemical with rubber powder. 3rd generation is natural latex with fiber. 4th generation is TireCare Natural rubber latex + Dragon Fruits + Nano Fiber which is the world's first permanent to piercing the hole permanently. Regardless, how it flow in the tire or the temperature heat. How the formula work with the tire that's the main factor. Even manufacturer's declared their sealant as temporary because they know their sealant cant seal it for permanently. No offense. As this is soft of a discussion and a public understanding to every drivers which are interested to get one for emergency use. Agreed with your tems of Japaneses, Korea OEM will replaced the sealant and this is the future trend. It's matter of times how fast they will implement this to the asia market. Honda and Mazda is selected models are using their OEM Sealant.

Excellent, now comes the million dollor question.

After the compressor is used to pump in the sealant into the tire, there will be some sealant leftover in the tubings/pipings of the kit. Then the kit is stored in the car trunk by the consumer. Months later when the consumer wants to use the kit again with a new pack of sealant, the leftover has dried up and blocked the tubes and so the compressor kit cant be used.
In this case, how do u ensure this does not happen?
