Hi guys,
I'm a newbie here. Just ordered a 428i coupe 2013 imported used/recon and will be getting it in 1-2 weeks.
After reading the f30 thread on water getting into the air intake because of flood or even heavy rain gets me worried. The cost of repair speechless!

My question is will the 4 series have the same issues? Anybody using 4 series encountered this problem before?

Second question is there was a recall worldwide because of fuel pump problem. Anybody with the 4 series having this issue?

rule of thumb, do not wade through or avoid any pool of water if other cars are avoiding it.

on the recall issue, you can register ur ride at any authorised SC to know if ur affected.

Thank you for your reply gendong. i have applied s/peril for the insurance but it is not insured if i drive through a puddle. its only for parking. anyway i will register my car. i have a stupid question, what is SC?
