Newbie e39 528 from Melaka

Hi,I just put a down payment for a 1997 e39 528 yesterday.The first thing that I want to do is to officially join this club after lurking aroung for a long time.Hope I can contribute something but I am not technically incline like some sifu over here and I am from Melaka....I am also interested to find out if there is any other members from Melaka.Thanks

BTW, yes there are quite a few OMs and CG in Melaka. One is OM chili E30 and I am also originally from Melaka. Do pm him for more info on the TT meet-up.

Just brought my e39 528i 1997 from her 1st service .... Surprisingly not very damaging.... drive perfectly...waiting to go JPJ this Friday to do name transfer..

Thermostar Housing...................RM 138
Thermo Housing O Ring...............RM 13
Thermostat...............................RM 52
Water Pump...............................RM235
AirCon Belt................................RM58
Alternater Belt............................RM82
Engine Oil..................................RM212
Oil Filter......................................RM32
Valve Cover Gasket/Plug Oil Ring.......RM135
Plug Coil.......................................RM 185
Labor...........................................RM 150..... (Tony Peringgit)

Change my roofliner including the pillers.. from Ong Kim Wee RM400
Change 2 used tyres....shitty...RM350 (Am looking for a suitable rim and have not decided for a 17 or 18 inch yet....then I will change 4 new tyres) Got 3 months to decide..

your plug coil price seems to be a bit on the higher side. i assume 185 for only a coil?
