Hi good morning guys. I'm planning to replace my front windscreen and was quoted by Dr Cermin rm3800 for the original BMW windscreen. Wonder if that's a reasonable price. This is for the X5 E70.

Do you have the WS covered by insurance? If yes, you can try any of the BMW authorised SCs like Quill. For E90, it is around RM3.6k.

Yes im covered by insurance for the windscreen. But unfortunately I only took a coverage of $3000. So was wondering if $3800 is a reasonable price. If yes then i dont mind forking out a little for an original bmw windscreen.

Not the same model of course, but just some data for your comparison:

Dr Cermin in PJ once quoted me RM3k for original F30 windscreen.

In the end, I went to the AD though, although they were more expensive (RM4k) because I had purchased the insurance.
