New model launch... guinea pigs ?

As we all know, somewhere along 2010, the new 5 series would be launched.Question: Is it safe to immediately buy the 2010 model and be a guinea pig, or is it better to wait for 1 - 2 years till the car is perfected and all bugs and errors removed.Thanks for the advice.

I dont you are guinea pig whenever you buy a new generation of the series. Most of the proven technology of previous generation and other series would be "transfer" or applied to the next generation. Of course, some new technology is also applied to the new generation..

In Malaysia, do you think that those who can afford to buy a new 5 series would really care about the bugs when it is still under warranty? I think they prefer to be the first few to own the car.

I agree with Jarance's point. Most high profile clients' of mine don't care about bug as you mention. It's whether they like the car and be among the first few to own it. Besides if there are bugs and no warranty, they don't mind paying. It's the joy of owning the ride.
