New iDrive Touch

If I am not mistaken, I understand from my SA the 36k discount are demo cars (driven with around 1k mileage)..and not brand new...

What I know about this itouch issues from a few dealers I went to.
1. Additional RM3k for itouch
2. Dealers who issue PO to BMW Malaysia for the 3s in Dec will only have 50/50 chance the car will be fitted with itouch. Dealers cannot confirm if the car you bought comes with new or old idrive until it arrives. (Note: Not all dealers are aware. I think we as buyer are better informed than them)
3. For Bro Lewin case, I guess his dealer got 'connection' with BMW Malaysia, so he is enjoying his new idrive now
4. Those 3s that comes with new itouch are called 328i M-Sport Advance. Main differences are itouch and ///M badge at the front fenders.
5. If you want the 328i Advance model, go to few dealers and asked if they can arrange for you. But what I know is that only limited colors available.
6. 5 years BSRI. Dunno when will offer end or they have implemented it for all cars reg after 27th Nov.

I got my EB without the itouch a day after Bro Lewin, but personally I find it's ok.

If you have no specific choice of color, 36k discount is damn good!

I can confirm all the points listed by Bro Senseless above. except maybe for point number 3.

Bro Senseless is driving a beautiful machine! Very lucky to be able to secure an EB unit.

I've seen an EB 328i M Sport in person. Looks awesome. Very striking. Very rare. Demand is high and supply is very limited.

Bro MSport867, I got my car from Ingress. I think Wearnes is giving the best deal now in terms of price (not referring to the RM36k discount). Saw the RM36k discount ads but have no idea on what the offer entails. Just to let you know, I was told by a dealer that the iDrive Touch will only be available towards the end of 2014. Luckily I shopped around. It may be true that some some dealers are not aware of it. Hence why sharing information with each other on this forum is so beneficial to all. I've gained in the past from other's sharing their knowledge, so hopefully someone can make a more informed decision based on information we have shared on this thread.

Due to the JPJ glitches, the registration of my car was delayed significantly so yes I got the 5 yr BSRI.

Thanks bro splee, to be honest the chunky steering wheel was a major deciding factor. It feels really good. Once I tired it, I couldn't go back to the non M Sport steering. Had to stretch the budget significantly.

Too bad I also miss the 5 years bsri and year end discount. Have checked with sa it is not possible to sign up the 5 years bsri with promotional rate. Really upset on this as bmw malaysia is practicing double standard. It is totally unfair to those who had bought the car just a few month earlier.

My SA ask me 5 years BSRI or the new idrive which important. And im not left hander. For me, it can be use during idle. Kind of dangerous while driving. I prefer the features install from 335.

Compared others continentals like mercs n volvo, both have tons of features or function that help on driving. Especially u can read books or playing iphone without holding steering. Why i choosed this simply the looks, 8 speed gearbox, perfomance, and the 5years service.

Audi a6 hybrid not bad either. But according to the SA the price for replacing the battery is rm 50000 at the moment. Furthermore heard a lot of bad feedback on audi after sales service.

FYI, Mine registered 3 Dec new F30 328i M Sports 'advance' complete with 5 yrs BSIR, iDrive Touch & ///M emblem on both sides.
A real Sports beauty with 3M Crystalline/Nano mixed tints on Mineral Grey body!

Bro, Volvo is 5+5+5; 5 years warranty+ 5 years full service with parts+ 5 years Volvo-on-Call. I would have gone for a S60 if not for the stronger calling I got from the rear wheel drive of the beemer.
