Neutral To Drive - Slow Pickup

Dear Gurus,When I put my 318i from neutral to drive and press on the fully on the acceleration pedal, there is almost no pick up. It takes a long time before the car will move. Any idea what is wrong ?Thanks.Terry

I got the same problem, detected that my Cam Shaft Sensor was faulty. After replacing, it was back to normal.

After 8 weeks and 4 workshops including the "Authourised Official workshop" finally a good workshop found the problem. It was the CO sensor !!!
