something wrong with your steering system. could be you steering pump or fluid reservoir.
mine got the same problem untill i change my steering fluid reservoir and flush to completely new fluid.

It works for me.... But anyway, Sifu's, your advice please....

help

the same problem with my e46 coupe as well..i think it might be problem coz of low power steering oil...i should check with my mechanic soon...cozi had the same problem with my nissan before, low oil...it can be other problem like sifu said reservoir...have to check that...if u have the solution please be free post in here..thanks :D

Rockonla..

go with the cheapest option..

1. AS what mafia said, flush the system, install new reservoir.

2. still got sound, check the vane pump.. seals leaking ? etc.

3. check the hoses, if still got sound, maybe the one-way valve is kaput.

4. finally, the rack.. freeplay , leaks...

usually it's the fuild and reservoir..

yeah pussy. you're right.
mine got the same problem due to reservoir and fluid.
:top:

thanks to all that helped me...ive done what mafia has suggested and it works wonders now...no more sound yo!..normal service is resumed :) thanks again mates.
