Need help on steering wheel

Am looking for a steering wheel to fit in my E30 (year 1984). Anyone got one used unit in OK condition to giveaway or sell for cheap? My budget has been eaten away from this refurbishment. Everytime, I am told of something to repair or replace and to pay. :14: Am regretting going to this place. Even told me use “DuPont” paint but in fact use the “DuPont” paint code only and the paint itself is from a never heard before “Adler” paint. All these dishonest business should be shut down. Typically all empty talk, misleading and false promises only.:106: A dumb thing happened to my original steering wheel. I am sure the mechanic damaged it but I cannot prove it. You see…. I sent my car for refurbishment (welding and painting) and the entire car was gutted. It’s near complete now & I believe when the mechanic wanted to move the car, he just put the steering wheel on without tightening the mounting bolt. He then placed another stering wheel (in bad cond.) temporary there to move the car (again, mounting nut not in place).When I went on my regular visit to see the progress of the refurbishment, the mechanic said the “gear tooth” on the steering wheel already gone (worn off). I’ve been driving the car all these while without problem and now I have to get another steering wheel. Bigger problem is that these unreasonable mechanics never admit to their mistakes. They even broke my pillar trim in half when it was all good when they took it out initially.Truly sad we have to put up with such ppl. :20: So? Anyone out there got a steering wheel to help me out? Pls don’t PM me offer to sell your RM600 steering wheel although I wish I could afford a MTEC2 wheel.Thanks

Check with DMC he has Mtec 1 stg that will fit your car and price is resionable. But if you want ori steering than go to hakitread in kg subang tel 0378450397.

Should have considered Glasurit paint! The finishing is like you will never have to polish your car again! Hey, Pussy is selling a 3-spoke steering wheel (dunno sudah jual or not). Go check it out. Should look good on your E30

yup, I'd like glasurit also but to paint the entire care inside/out, it;ll cost a bomb! unless the shop tipu and use a combination of primer, base and top coat to keep cost down lar. my neighbour sent his peugeot 406 for glasurit recently. he painted the outside only and it cost him like RM2500 if I remember correctly.

Again, that also cannot guarantee. these business ppl maybe keep the empty glasurit paint can to show you only..... hahaha

If like that very simple either you paint your self or dont paint your car. Did you paint your car in subang if so where because i am from subang i mean subang jaya bro.

wish i could do it (paint the car myself) but dont have the skill to prep and paint it. My car is in kelana jaya.
