Need info: M cars Sepang lap time

hi guys,any idea on how road use M cars perform in Sepang circuit? Any input are welcome, many thanks!!:top: I ran mine couple of time but without proper transponder though, should be around 2:48ish i guess.. cheers

The Z4 M that belong to Petronas team driven By Hans Stuck Did 2:08 at last year MME race. Proton Satria 1.8cc race car will do 2:45.

The Z4M driven by Hans Stuck in the MME race is full blown factory prepped race car. Output pushed up to 400 or 420hp (if I remember correctly). As for road use ///Ms, I suspect with normal tires probably around 2:4X.xx.

got 2:39 during practice session in a 'time-attack' event, my 2nd lap out of 8 laps.. i conclude that road tires are best when slightly warmed up, and deteriorate exponentially once it gets hotter, despite playing around with air pressure.. it's the compound more than pressure..

during actual event, got 2:56 as it was raining.. kah kah..

mods:
1. brembo GT
2. gruppeM ti exhaust
3. fluidine oil cooler
4. NEW csc3 tyres rear and 50% ps2 fronts.. car was understeering and oversteering all day.. weird.. curse u conti!! hehe..
5. pss9 (stupid wrong settings.. softest fronts, hardest rear.. eh, not easy setting your adjustable suspension in an awkward bending and squatting position u know.. kekeke)
6. HIOP flash

some toys waiting to be installed.. i'm targetting 2:32 next track day.. i wish!

p/s: i won a side bet against a 996 gt3, which clocked 2:51 fastest.. i got duck rice for lunch!! woohoo!!

2:39 is respectable bro...good luck on your next run and do keep us updated on the timing. i agree with u conti's are really weird on the track...they start losing grip after like 2 laps. will slap on some PS2's when my csc2's wear out

hehe..knew that you be able to give a piece of great advise here..hehee..anyway, we shall go track day together sometimes really. 2:39!!..damn it. Best with stock Evo 8 i did was 2:41 last Friday with transponder.

i've heard the story of the claimed m5 on road tires doing 2:20!!! wow.. faster than stripped gt3 trackcar and chipped GTR35 on semi slicks! wud love to see that m5 in action.. :top:

just an update, my fastest lap time was only 2:34 +/- and that's with goodyear eagle rs sport rears and 888 fronts. i think a very good driver can do 2:30 to 2:31 in my car.. waiting for the chance to get them behind the wheel. need to learn better technique first to improve my laptime, before getting better parts. perhaps, i shud lose some parts? :wink:
