Any difference between 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder rear axle and differential? If adifferent will it be upgrading to a 6 cylinder type gives better performance?

the difference is the final drive ratio. The higher the ratio, the shorter the gearing, the better the acceleration, better torque but reduced top speed.

it really depends on what engine you are using and whether your gearbox is auto or manual. this topic has been explained before do a search and you should find something. goodluck
