just now i smell fuel inside my car...somebody told me that i had a fuel leak.. when i look under my back seat where the pump and tank is located..there are a huge amount of fuel on it..it looks like the pipe is loose from the tank..resulting the fuel around the pump..if its water..a fish could swim in it..so i need advice how to fix this problem..

Usually it means your fuel pump needs replacement but if you want to try, you can try tightening the hose at the fuel pump first.

Btw bro, please intro yourself at the newbie section first before doing any other posting & read the forum rule. You can also use the search tool in this forum to find the answers to your question in the 3 series section. Not trying to be unfriendly but this issue have been discussed before.

Ok. I faced the same problem with 2 E36. And the source of the leak was the same thing. If you sit on the back seat and facing infront there are 2 fuel tanks, one on your right which contains the fuel pump and the left tank which only contains the float. If you'd seen the puddle of petrol on the left tank float chances are you got the same ,roblem like i had. Actually the yellowish colour surface of the float had hairline cracks which are not vivible to the human eye. Well if the hoses near there are ok then u must change the float. Only costs about 100 or 200 plus. And while you're change it please check you fuel gauge at your dashboard. Install the float well so that the fuel gauge works normal again. Sometimes it will read lower than max when we'd just fill in full. Fyi i've just did mine 2 days ago with 328.

First, make sure your coolant & washer fluid is full. If the error still exist, it might be the sensor problem. You can call bavarian auto for the price. Google Bavarian Auto for phone number. Or just go through the part & maintenance thread.

Maybe you made a typo or I cant read..but coolant level isn't your washer fluid. Its the coolant inside your radiator.

When I had the coolant level warning, the culprit was the heater. The hose fittings were super loose, as if someone had intentionally loosen them.. o_O
