Hi alipon, may I know once get the approval from JPJ Putrajaya, is there any time frame for us to do the conversion? 6 months? 1 year? or not limit? After done the conversion, then only go to Puspakom for inspection, and from there is allowed around 3 weeks to 1 months to go the state JPJ for the endosement on our car card, right?

Hi Lional, thanks for giving a lot of way/choices in doing the conversion, from the cheapest way till the perfect way. Is it advisable to get the TU version of the M50/M52 engine? Will it be giving problems if the block for M50/M52 is the Nikasil one later on?

Oh, 1 more question.
Which is the correct sequence?
1) Search and confirm the halfcut engine --> Get JPJ Putrajaya approval --> Buy the halfcut
2) Search and direct buy the halfcut engine + get all documents --> Get JPJ Putrajaya approval on the conversion

And to prevent others ppl confusion, actually:
M50 = Iron block without Vanos
M50TU = Iron block with added single Vanos
M52 = Nikasil block with single Vanos
M52TU = Alusil block (revise) with single Vanos

So for M52 with Nikasil block, do anyone of you still driving it without any problem of loss compression + hard cold start + rough idle? What patrol you use? V-Power RON98 or just normal RON97? And anyone of you know that how is the quality of the Japan fuel (cause most of the halfcut from Japan)?
