Go for imitation, great value for money. Plus, it has built-in automated speed-enhancing weight-reduction function. When you go fast, it will get rid of itself by flying off into oblivion. I have two dents in my fender to prove it, courtesy of a made-in-Taiwan part.

ahaha.. n lee, how fast was tat? as i remembered, it has 4 clips altogether at each side..!

if it were to fly off, then it pretty fast though!>

Was rushing to pick someone up from KLIA.

Dunno what speed I was going...

I suppose clips from Taiwan are not as robust as their politicians in a parliementary debate...

true in a way too. but not necessary all taiwan products are inferior... jsut like the negative feedbakcs on proton cars parts. i had mine lasted for 10 yrs w/o any probs at all(touch wood)... well, maybe its just a matter of luck sometimes on the purchased..

u may get something ori but still there's some defects on tat.! experienced tat too, fed up of brigning it back to the w/shop!> sigh..

but anyway, lee thks for the info.. later tonite, i glued it real tight.!

cheers

Ha ha ha. No offense bro, just having some fun.

I've tried taiwan parts. Always ended spending more money buying ori after the imitation goes kaput... My personal experience.

Actually original also more and more parts are made in China and Taiwan as the factories are all concentrated in PRC to gain the cost advantage. Most of the older models should have very little problems because by now they would have rectified any mistakes.

Some parts like aftermarket car lights need some attention before installation ie. covering the seals with transparent silicone.
