Need advise for E36 engine swap

If you still intended to "bastardise" your car, try zerotohundred.

You can already get a higher powered engine from within the BMW stable...

i m afraid that since you call us 'bmw expert' , we can't help you cos we only are are 'experts' in bmw, not in jap engines..

Thanks all, this few days i found some info tell me only M50B20 can match my manual gear box, em.. RM7k included half cut + installation by outside bmw specialist.. how guys ?

u mean 2000cc single vanos?the half cut does not come wif gear box?

Thinking to put RB20DET but lot of ppl tell me worry about wiring, still got 2-3 months to run this M40 original condition, will thinking within this time, if put M50 2.0L with my original gear box it will less of installation problem.
