Lucky owner...

Bro, what "E39 M5" items are you looking for at ebay until you this fine specimen appears in front of your screen?

Lets just say one of your good friend sparked my curiousity. Hence the posting at 3am on a working day night.

You know who you are.

The machine makes me feel uneasy...but i got no mooolah fo this beast..cant even afford a 530.

Wahhh....latuk, a good friend of ours, can turn you to ebay UK to look for an E39 M5 huh? hehehehe
Been there, done that, also forgotten about it after I learned the hassle.
I got a quote from MITI, the tax and excise duty, not too bad actually.
As of last year (2011), to bring in a 2002 sample is definitely less than RM150k. (2002 bcoz I thought 2003 all SMG)
Then the roadtax calculation comes in mind....really "potong stim".

Wonder why does this model comes with sunroof and not moonroof....and it's 2002 model.

Also it comes with non high gloss external trims.

Nonetheless, immaculate condition.

other arrangements can be done, only the roadtax alone is a nightmare. once the car in hands, another issue is continuously collect speed tickets on highway. hehe.

Can we pretend it is a 520i, pay 2.2liter road tax. From outside no different in look.

Those are optional items, up to the first owner to spec it unlike in Malaysia.

If I have the money, man, I would jump on this. My wet dream...

4 star classics has allot of M cars and used to lend them to BMW mag for photoshoot and review.

Haiyah..not looking at the whole car lah...just looking at one 'small' detail in the M5...hehehe

I had the chance to bring back one, but cant afford the roadtax here. When I bought my car in UK the M5 was just a little bit more.

My dream garage:

1) E39 M5
2) E39 Alpina B10
3) E39 530i Sport

All E39s....hehehehehe

At least I got one out of the three :)
