Navigation volume

I use the navigation quite often as I drive in Spore regularly. With my previous 323, I did not have this problem but with my new 328, i found the volume of the spoken instruction to be very low and I have to strain to hear it especially if the radio is on at the same time. Increasing the volume of the radio does not seem to increase the volume of the spoken instruction. Does anyone here know how to increase this volume ?Thanks

Hi ebby,

you would need to adjust volume knob (increase/decrease) when the navigation "lady" is speaking.. for example:-
1) enter a destination
2) click on start guidance (keep fingers ready on vol knob)
3) the minute the navi "gal" speaks the first set of instruction, turn volume knob.

The Navi loudness can be adjusted relative to the music volume in the hidden "Settings" menu. To access the hidden menu:

Call up Start (main) menu

• Push controller in up direction for at least 10 s
• Rotate controller, 3 notches to the right
• Rotate controller, 3 notches to the left
• Rotate controller, 1 notch to the right
• Rotate controller, 1 notch to the left
• Rotate controller, 1 notch to the right
• Press controller once
• The Service menu is now added as the last submenu to "Settings"
