My E60

Something unexpected happened and my cuntchill breakdown for the 1st time. Its the first time in my life any my car has to be towed. Coolant level low signal came out steam coming out from my engine bay. Dont want to risk of overheating so call for towing thou its only 5km from my workshop. Lucky it happened in town.

Kind of tricky to bring up the car.

Going down also need a technique but at least it safely reach workshop without any issue & scratch.

My E60

Found out got water leak at plastic pipe near the head.

The old blind plug & the new one. Just dont understand what is the purpose and the thing just burst and the whole is like pipe with no signal. I already change all cooling systems parts except this bloody useless part. Not connecting to anything, thats why it called blind plug.

Fix the parts and refill the water.

Yeah last friday. Lucky my trip to KL postpone as well. If not will be worst to be stranded on hiway or outstation.
No sign of leaking at all as I always monitor & clean my engine bay. U can still see how clean the engine. Not sure on this part of other BMW engine but its worth to check and change because it just burst and leave a big hole

You should demand the tow truck with fully landed platform bro.. That's the best way to tow your UDM without tilt it up, especially ground sweeper beast like yours.. IMHO

Ok la the towing guy is expert. At least its not 2 wheeler tow. mmmm never see the fully landed platform tow in JB.

As usual after repair give the engine mandi buih session

Soap it

Rinse it

Also take out the aircond filter to clean all the dirt underneath

Dry it

My Cuntchills mandi buih session together. Very hard to ignore each other so have to do both

Next to clean the porch before park the cuntchills

After rinse park the car & clean the porch of any dirt & sand.

Then dry the car and the job done. Clean cuntchills but tired owner.
