6) This car already came with angel lights BUT its like... yellow teeth! I want em WHITE. Use colgate ka? How much? I asked in JB (When I was there a few weeks ago) and the guy told me got to open the thing and change it but he does not have stock (nor does he know how IMHO). The other guy tried to cheat me by saying I "Kena tukar the whole unit bang". Moron. (Or is he right?)

I'm currently using the Brex LED bulbs from Japan. The Brex bulbs will replace the standard AE bulbs (Phillips 12082, 12 Volt 10 Watt). The bulbs will simulate the mininum wattage that is required to prevent the error message "check park light" alarm. The bulbs are pretty costly, it will set you back around RM750. I had no choice because i didn't want to open the light casing as they are the OEM lights with AE.

Cool. Thanks for that. Where exactly did u buy them? So total cost of whitening the eyes are RM 750?

Also what is the first picture? The bulb?

Oh, and what bumpers/skirts u using? MSport or some other thing?

A friend of mine got it for me from Japan. Apparently it's only for their local market. Yeah, it cost me RM750 for the bulbs. The first picture is the bulb, it will replace the standard AE bulbs.

Standard AE bulb (Halogen)

I've done some modifications to the standard AE bulbs by adding in ba9s LED bulbs into the Standard AE bulb holder but I can't get rid of the "Check Park Light" error message. The AE rings will light up pretty well with the ba9s LEDs but they are still not as good as the brex plus you get the error message!

I'm using the M-tech II front bumper. I had the black trims painted to match the bumper, don't like black trims.

Perhaps Alpina bodykit, Alpina rims and Estoril Blue paintjob? IMHO it is a refreshing look compared to all the silver n black M5 kitted E39s.

Kena scratched twice by dunno who. Long key scratch on driver side from front lights to back. Front passenger rims scratched from kerbing. Tyre punctured for the same reason. This sucks.

I tell you tak ade kerja ka all this people! Why would they do that? IT made me wonder if the previous owner was an a**hole and the car is targeted... Could it be? But if it did, why wouldn't they just bash the whole thing up or scratched it EVERYwhere? Does not make any sense. Any theories on this? Just spent a a fair bit of money on a 4 layer polish. It did not help. I guess it needs a touch up of some sorts. Anywhere I could go without spending crazy money? SIGH. BAD BAD weekend for my blue baby....

Mine too got scratched just like yours...wat the heck....my neigbour's newly painted e46 also got scratched after just 3 months!! Makes me think that there are alot of ppl have "red eyes" on UDM..especially shinny ones...

Up till now...didn't do anything to the scratch yet....maybe accumulate more scratches then paint again lo..

Those yang dah kena scratch or vandalise should make a thread of where was the location it happened,time,date..all possible details..so a pattern can be establish so other members can be on the look out and possible catch these buggers for once and for all

Hey, today I saw an e36 328i with some nice wheels and the word DINAN on the boot. Anybody here owns that? Do we have DINAN tuning and parts available here? Or was it just 5 alphabets on the boot?

For most non UDM drivers, they probably thought that DINAN is the name of the driver... :rofl:

obermaier used to do dinan stuff, but they stopped cos it's too expensive.

i get my dinan parts through a friend from usa. prices are 10-20% more than what you see at www.dinancars.com. dont forget shipping and customs too.

BTW, tried the Primax 3... not bad at all. Not major leap in performance and fuel economy but seems good from a subjective point of view. Engine seems smoother and quieter....
