Ok. Its not a DINAN but I want one! I just did my introduction last nite at the Newbies Section. Check it out hereI wanted to post my pic - its part of my deliverables today as promised. NOW I am looking for sponsors for future service and mods. Anyone work for an Invesment Bank? Maybe its called UDM TT Investment Bank. I think thats indicative of the range I need to look for to convert to a DINAN. Personal loan pun tak cukup. So conventional bank cannot. Islamic Bank? Profit sharing rate not competitive enough. Ah! Maybe Maybank Ventures? Or Malaysia Debt Ventures (Tech Project What...). Oh maybe my neighbouring MDeC? OR I know, ten bucks a month from 1800 of you a month, keep in rolling in for say about 5 years?Here is my ride. Enjoy though I get to drive it [for now].

Unfortunately, this is the only thing u get to see driving with me. Including the POLIS. I ALREADY GOT MY FIRST SAMAN! Damn Man In White.

This is what I may get to see if my company gives me a driver.

Its not advisable to drive with wings. It will not fly but will definitely hurt someone!So so so. U think its a good buy or good bye? I also have a dozen questions on this 8th wonder of the world...1) How much do ACS and ABS Sensors Cost - These things come on off and on depending if there is a bump or type of turn or sometimes how I brake.2) Where can I get a used/recon CD changer. The b*****d previous owner or the dealer stole this one and left an AMP! I dun get it. Why leave the AMP? Pencuri tak masuk ajar.3) Typically, what are the mileage for service intervals - ok, I know I am supposed to read into the green lights but kena plan also lah.4) How much does the sporty streeting wheel cost? Mine has the multifunction type but I want the smaller ones. Also, newer steering MAY make me feel like its a new car. I serviced this one already. But just need to accrue for future negative cash flows!5) How fast have any of you e39 pilots taken this thing? And No, am not asking you to test my blue devil.6) This car already came with angel lights BUT its like... yellow teeth! I want em WHITE. Use colgate ka? How much? I asked in JB (When I was there a few weeks ago) and the guy told me got to open the thing and change it but he does not have stock (nor does he know how IMHO). The other guy tried to cheat me by saying I "Kena tukar the whole unit bang". Moron. (Or is he right?)The other 6 questions I will ask if I get decent answers for my first setengah dozen. K?I got MORE pics too! Ori pics are 6 Mega Pixels. My collegue has a brain stonking baffling 12 Mega Pixel camera. Mine is a bog standard consumer 4 Megas. Same year as yours but it's a 523. Heck, we even have the same color (although mine is abit darker shade of blue)... Too bad, wish we could have the same hp and torque....

Well, i can't answer all your questions but I will try....

1. No idea...

2. Well, I do have a OEM cd changer from my ex E46 328. Took it out when I sold the car becoz that car already has an aftermarket headunit. Anyway, you got to check whether it works for an E39. To me, it shouldn't be a problem lah... Oh yeah, one more thing. The changer is in mint conditon, but only one problem, no magazine. Yup, NO MAGAZINE, all thanks to my "friendly" neighborhood superhero who decided to smash my car window on one particular nite and decided to take just the magazine and some loose change, together with a few of my favourite cds... :cry:

3. All depends on you, bro. Some poeple actually recommend every 5k but for me, it is 10k.

4. I too am praying for the steering wheel that you are talking about but do you know that you have to change the air-bags as well? The sterring wheel is cheap (can find loads of them on e-bay) but the air bag will kill you. Makes you think twice from changing them in the first place...

5. No chance yet... (reason: please read first line of this post) I reckon more than 230km/h for your 528. Anyway, drive safely more important lah... I have been called a "pondan" driver together with one of the fellow members here down at JB...(calling Vanquish...... h34r: )

6. Call us next time when you are at JB. Anyway, back to your question, white angel eyes are aftermarkets. Had mine previously from e-bay (for my E46). Basically, you got to take out the headlamp lenses and just fixed them in to replace your OEMS. Please refer here for a description of the mentioned item:

Walaueh! Cool man. Its a solid molid car right? I cannot believe how good this 8th wonder is. I am so pleased with my buy. They wanted me to buy a NEW car (not UDMlah) for the money but I insisted and am NOT regretting it one minute (well, maybe till my next bill).

Anyway, since you already have nice 18" M-parallel rims and I presume on Eibachs, then the next step will be to get the M-tech kit (or M5 kit or watchamacallit). I think that should be the next upgrade. BTW, how old are you ah? In your late 20s??? :blink:

I haven't got time to take my car photos lah... let me pimp it up for the next month or so and maybe we shall see...... k:

For engine, go and buy the supercharger kit for sale by one forumer, its a vortech blower. Have driven one with it and it rocks.

Bodykit can go with M5, BMW Aerokit, AC, Dinan, Breyton and etc....but most garang one is Hamann!

Exhaust go with SuperSprint or Remus.

M-Sport Kit? I have seen many of those around. My theory is to do a makeover into something that is not "common". I want an effect that others will say... what kit does that beauty have on?

And No, I am not saying that I want a look that some Wira owners seem to think look pretty with stuff sticking out all over either. Something that looks really good on it, yet understated. Coz it seems to me that everyone wants an M5. I want an original look if at all possible (Look, I know this becomes really difficult to imagine and I have not visualized it yet either.)

The sport steering at 3k? Ok, will have to debate on fund allocation with the cabinet on that one. Maybe in the 10th Malaysia plan. :blink:

The rims? Yes, it came with the car. It took me about 1 year to finally purchase this one coz though there are many e39s out there in the preowned and recon market, I tell you most of them did not get the TLC they deserved. Most of them seemed to have been abused, at least on the interior. Leather can change, yes BUT to change the plastics in the car will cost a small fortune. Worse still, a lot of them do not come with any record of proper maintenance being done.

The one I have now, mind you was also more than I originally wanted to spend. But hey, love is blind and your wallet will grind. The rims was also one of the reasons I got the car. I have not seen it on any other UDM here in KL yet. I do not beleive its unique to just this car but I just have not seen one yet. Could not even find one in the shores.

I had to do some research on the net to find out what these were called. Fortunately, your conclusion was the same with mine.

You what would be interesting? To find out that the previous owner was one of you guys out here. :blink: Probably gone to the e60 or something.

THEN, I get really nervous. Coz the list of problems that made him/her sold the car comes to the fore!

Ok on not applying to MDeC. Somehow I dun think I can convince them that by sponsoring money to upgrade my car, I would be able to create 500 jobs in Cyberjaya. Or can it?
