moody wipers?

last week my e60 car wipers suddenly started to act up. It will:
-not work at all,
-if working it wont stop; or
-if stop if will stop at the middle of the screen instead of the normal positions
this lasted for 2 to 3 days

after that it automatically fix itself and now everything is working fine.
Although grateful, I am just wondering if anyone had experienced similar problems?

He he...must be the time of the month....
Tho I have not encountered this,I would normally shrug it off if works fine thereafter.
You can check the stored fault by hooking up to a computer for a diagnostic if this bothers you.

Happened to me too....normally what I do is just switch off and on back the auto wipers & it'll back to normal.....once in a blue moon I encounter this issue but it goes away by itself
