F30 wiper malfunction

Hi, anyone experienced wiper going havoc. Once activated, or turned on on the wiper lever or auto wiper setting it keeps wiping at fastest speed. Only will shut off by switching off car totally.
Currently, in BMW shop second day troubleshooting. Apparently, some can be fixed by software reset or potentially need to replace the wiper control PCB.

Initially BMW traced to the motor, changed out. Then needed the match the wiper control lever as well. That waited another two weeks. Finally fixed yesterday, working fine now.
