Like many when I heard of his Departure this morning I thought it was a hoax! More so when he was preparing for some grand shows in London and was thinking earlier if I could finally attend one of his concerts after missing the one in Stadium Merdeka.

Growing up in the 80s, it was all MJ. The first ever MTV video I watched was Beat It. And my favourite is still Billie Jean, his performance at the MTV music awards together with his sister Janet was in my opinion an act for the ages.

His MTV were not just music vidoes but short movies. I heard from the radio that the MTV made with his sister Janet was 7 million.

Managed to catch his concert in Wembley..its was Second to None..the best gig I ever attended, and I wasn't even a fan. More the reason to appreciate who he was and his contributions to the music for generations. Loved his exhilarating and iconic music videos too... He was The Entertainer of our age... A very sad loss... RIP MJ..

What a sad day...Im in mourning...dressed totally in black today...been playing MJ's songs non stop ..I 'grew up' with MJ...ever since The Jackson 5 era....seen him, his voice and his music transform...watched him live in Stadium Merdeka and also shook his hand at the Concorde KL, where he was staying. RIP...sad.....The World has lost of a Legend.

yea..sob sob..watched him in Wembley back in 1997, its unbelievable.

Return to where we belong.

Such a sad situation.

The 911 rescue personnel responded within 3 minutes. Very fast, but it was already too late. Investigations have now centered around MJ's personal Doctor who has a lot of explaining to do, but apparently he's gone MIA.

This is starting to seem eerily like the late Heath Ledger's case..

it was so sad to hear bout it..he was my 1st ever favorite artist..i remember when i was a kid my first ever song that i love was Beat it..since then only i learn what is music all about..

i also missed the concert in stadium merdeka.i was hoping also could catch on this time concert...i m not shy to say..but i did drop my tears when i listen to his song when radio keep playing it these days to tribute to him.

The morning I heard his death......I saw his brief concert footage on the local Indonesian TV, and wondered why........then the missus sms-ed. SIGH.

Indeed a sad end for a briliant performer - his dance moves are LEGENDARY.

Well, at least he went out without needing to grow old! ( he's always a kid at heart, so I read )
