If information is in the hands of McVClaren's people, irregardless who they are; then it is deemed as in the hands of McClaren, since these people represent McClaren.
Same argument goes for our Budget 2008. The PM introduced a RM48.14 billion development budget. The Finance Ministry produced a RM40 billion for the same budget. Both figures were signed by the PM. Who should take the blame - the PM who signed it, the finance Ministry, the people who made the pens which the PM used to sign the documents, the paper on which the documents were printed on?
Everyone shouch accept responsibility for this blunder. Not the PM alone, even though he signed it. He is relying on his good team. So, he signed both documents in utmost goodfaith that they were correct. In McClaren's case, the whole team must accept responsibility for whatever action that befalls on the team - that is a good team, irregardless of mistakes. As everyone can learn from mistakes.
