Recently I found my car is lack of power when climbing uphill, the foreman told me is due to the manifold leaking air, is it true? If repair? How much will it costs? and any recommended workshop? I stay in Klang Valley.
if yr intake manifold is leaking you will experience unstable idle as there will be unmetered air going into yr engine...
if yr exhaust manifold is leaking you will hear tick tick sound like the tappet sound of cars with adjustable valves...
intake manifold leak requires the gasket replacement....
exhaust manifold leak can just be the gasket OR one of the manifold bolt/stud has sheared...the fix is more involved then...
