M52b28 maintenance

Hello, this engine with manual tranny is in my e30. And I really have no knowledge on it's maintenance. Some questions for d situs or those with d same mod :1. What r d parts I should do preventive changes? Seals, timing chain & etc2. Since this is a rojak, a Beemer mechanic outside refused to check it out, near kelana jaya. Now its maintained by a tyre shop guy who changes oil and filters for me. Can we plug a diagnostic check?3. Any recommendations where I can go for maintenance, mechanics that will entertain classic e30's, with a new heart.4. Any issues with this engine? Thanks.

Try pm Mizhan as he has just had his e30 restored by Optimuim at Kaya Ara and also join one of the e30 TT sessions.

I maintain mine @ WP AUTO with Albert who is very well versed with these engines. Anyway its personal preference. If you need the contact PM me else if I'm free, Saturdays can bring you there..Good Luck
