be doin my first service anytime soon. friend recommended M1 (kayu ara) . are they ok? price ok? and whom do i ask for there?appreciate the feedback

Been going there for some time. If you take your car seriously, they will take it seriously as well. Dedicated and knowledgeable.

Not the cheapest in town for sure. You do get what you pay for here. And for newbie, you won't be taken for a ride.

Ask for Jeffrey or KC.

i go there too and yes they are a bit expensive. they are near pantai seafood in kayu ara. one main road, just go up and down it. there is a sign, big blue fence. just down the road from the old famous vw workshop.

Directions a lil vague, do i turn left from the approach to NKVE, at the VWshop junction? or carry on pass the shell station....?

coming along sprint from KL heading towards Damansara toll.

after LDP/Sprint bridge, keep left and dun go up next bridge,

at traffic lights, keep going straight

take next right after about 80m from lights ( its the only possible right after traffic lites )

drive into road and go about 1km until u see SHOP LOTS on RIGHT

at end of shop lot, the is junction.....pass this junction and

M1 is on your RIGHT 20m from this junction......with new SHELL ADVERTISEMENTS aplenty.

My verdict of M1?

HIGH SIDE : Same as most - quality assured, wun change without reason and if you insist to be told before, they will call and not very cheap......yes, for newbie and hassle free - recommended place.

DOWN SIDE : Not very willing ( & good ) on mods, transplants as time is moeny for them....

I should know this as a long term customer....and Jeff's my cousin.

Jules, what the difference between M1 Kayu Ara and M1 Segambut.

I have been going to M1 Segambut for almost 10 years now. Have tried other workshop but somehow still go back to them cos feel that other don't have
the "X" factor when come to diagnostic or troubleshoot problem.
